NORTHERN AZ AQUARIUM
RESCUE
Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome, Educate

Our Mission
At Northern Arizona Aquarium Rescue in Sedona, Arizona, we believe every aquatic life deserves a second chance. Our mission is to provide sanctuary, expert care, and strong advocacy for neglected, abandoned, and at-risk aquarium fish and other aquatic animals.
We rescue aquarium animals that can no longer be kept safely, rehabilitate them with proper environments and species-specific care, and rehome them into responsible, loving homes. By focusing on fish rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, we help prevent suffering and reduce the environmental harm caused when aquarium pets are released into local waterways.
Through education, community outreach, and collaboration with other aquarists, we aim to build a nationwide network of aquarium rescues dedicated to responsible fish keeping and aquatic animal welfare. Together with our supporters, we are working toward a future where the beauty and diversity of aquatic life are protected, and every aquarium animal can thrive in a safe, well-cared-for environment.

Help Fund Our 501(c)(3) Status
Northern Arizona Aquarium Rescue is currently raising funds to secure our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status so we can better serve the aquarium community in Sedona and beyond.
We have a concrete goal of raising 3,000 dollars, and every dollar from this campaign goes directly toward our nonprofit attorney and the IRS filing fee required to complete our 501(c)(3) application.
By donating today, you are helping us become a fully recognized nonprofit rescue so we can rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome even more aquarium animals in need, and expand education and rescue efforts across the country.

BE PART OF OUR RESCUE NETWORK
We are working toward a long-term goal of creating a nationwide network of sponsored partner rescues to help aquarium animals in need across the United States. To make this vision a reality, we are looking for individuals and organizations interested in becoming rescue partners.
Every donation brings us closer to expanding our reach and helping more animals receive the care they deserve.
